Thoughts

Grieve for me, for I would grieve for you. Then brush away the sorrow and the tears Life is not over, but begins anew, With courage you must greet the coming years. To live forever in the past is wrong; It can only cause you misery and pain. Dwell not on memories overlong, With others you must share and care again. Reach out and comfort those who comfort you; Recall the years, but only for a while. Nurse not your loneliness; but live again. Forget not. Remember with a smile.
Life Must Go On - A Navaho Prayer
26th May 2019
We do not need a special day to bring you to mind. The days we do not think of you are very hard to find. Each morning when we awake, we know that you are gone. And no one knows the heart ache as we try to carry on. Our hearts still ache with sadness and secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you no one will ever know. Our thoughts are always with you, your place no one can fill. In life we loved you dearly; in death we love you still. There will always be a heartache, and often a silent tear. But always a precious memory of the days that you were here. If tears would make a staircase, and heart ache makes a lane, We’d walk the path to heaven and bring you back again. We hold you close within our hearts; and there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives until we meet again. Our family chain is broken now, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Memories of Dad

To the living, I am gone. To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated, But to the happy, I am at peace, And to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea - remember me. As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty - remember me. As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity - remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never be gone.
